Tawjihi results to be released Thursday, public schools excel

Jordan Daily – The Ministry of Education will announce the results of the 2024 General Secondary Education Certificate Examination (Tawjihi) at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, accessible through an official online link. The ministry will also hold a press conference at 6:00 p.m. to disclose overall pass rates across all academic streams and to name the top-performing students.

Nawaf Al-Ajarmeh, the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Education, stated in a press briefing that this year’s Tawjihi results are promising, marking the highest success rates in a decade.

Al-Ajarmeh assured the public that the ministry’s technical teams are fully prepared to handle the release of the results smoothly, with no anticipated issues. He noted that the results link is set to go live at 5:00 p.m., though it may be accessible up to 10 minutes earlier.

He further highlighted that government schools performed exceptionally well in this year’s examination, with more than 50% of the top students coming from public schools. However, he clarified that no student achieved a perfect score of 100% this year, with the top-performing student in the Kingdom hailing from the scientific stream.
