Three-day celebration across Kingdom for Independence Day

Jordan Daily – Jordanians will celebrate its 79th Independence Day with nationwide festivities starting Friday and running through Sunday, May 25.

The Ministry of Culture announced a lineup of family-friendly events across all governorates, including children’s games, face painting, music, folkloric performances, cultural contests, and local product bazaars.

Activities will run daily from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fireworks are scheduled for May 25 at 9:30 p.m. near the Sixth Circle Towers, alongside drone shows at 9:00 and 9:45 p.m. in the Raghadan area.

Culture Minister Mustafa Rawashdeh said the celebration underscores national pride and marks a pivotal moment in Jordan’s history, reflecting its progress under Hashemite leadership.
