Tourism revenue grows 2.1% in June, falls 4.9% in H1 2024 – CBJ

Jordan Daily – Preliminary data from the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) shows that tourism revenue in June 2024 grew by 2.1% compared to the same month in 2023, reaching JOD 455.8 million.
However, for the first half of 2024, tourism revenue saw a 4.9% decline compared to the corresponding period in 2023, recording JOD 2.3 billion .This decrease is attributed to a 7.9% drop in the number of tourists.
