Jordan Daily – Jordan-based cybersecurity firm True Matters has announced several key partnerships aimed at bolstering cyber defense for both public and private sectors.
Founded in late 2023, the company was established in response to the growing threat of cybercrime, including theft of financial and personal data.
Following its participation in the International Security and National Resilience (ISNR) conference in Abu Dhabi earlier this year, True Matters signed agreements with 14 British cybersecurity companies, including CyberWales, a cluster of 1,300 companies. These collaborations aim to enhance the company’s ability to deliver comprehensive cybersecurity solutions across multiple sectors.
CEO Mohammad Waddah highlighted the company’s initiatives to train families and children, starting from age three, on safe internet usage and cybersecurity awareness. “We want to protect children and families by training them on how to safely navigate electronic devices and mobile applications,” Waddah said. The training is designed for different age groups, starting with children and extending to entire families, to help them mitigate the risks associated with cyber threats.
True Matters is also exploring the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) in both civilian and military sectors. Waddah detailed ongoing efforts to develop AI-powered training tools for military forces.
The firm has signed agreements with U.S. company to develop AI-driven simulators for military training in controlled environments, further decreasing the operational costs associated with live ammunition drills.
In the civilian sector, True Matters is conducting cybersecurity training tailored to banks, hospitals, and other industries. Waddah emphasized that each sector requires customized approaches to secure its specific operational systems. For banks, the company offers programs to test employee readiness for cyberattacks, providing critical feedback for improving defenses. “Raising cybersecurity awareness will enhance the international standing of these institutions,” Waddah noted.
Looking ahead, True Matters is focusing on collaboration with official entities, including the Central Bank of Jordan. The company aims to help implement ISO 27001 standards for cybersecurity, which could enhance the country’s global cybersecurity ranking and positively impact the economy.
Waddah also revealed ongoing discussions with Jordan’s National Cyber Security Center, following their participation in the Sofex 2024 exhibition. The company is now preparing to offer cybersecurity training for various commercial and government sectors, with a focus on delivering internationally certified programs.
“Our goal isn’t about profit,” Waddah said. “It’s about how we can protect our country from any cyber threat and contribute to the national economy.”
