Jordan Daily – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced yesterday the safe return of two Jordanian citizens, Maher Al-Sufi and Mahmoud Owaidah, who were kidnapped in Syria.
The two citizens have arrived back in Jordan in good health, following coordination with Syrian authorities, who secured their release and facilitated their transfer to the Kingdom.
Official spokesperson for the ministry, Ambassador Dr. Sufian Al-Qudah, stated that the two Jordanians, who had been abducted in Syria more than two weeks ago, were freed by Syrian authorities and have now returned to Jordan.
He expressed gratitude for the cooperation of Syrian officials in securing their release and ensuring their safe return through official channels.
