Jordan Daily – Haitham Misto, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission, announced that two international airlines have resumed operations to Jordan out of five that had previously suspended their flights to and from the country.
Misto specified that German airline Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines have restarted their flights to Amman.
He also noted that 43 international and national airlines currently hold permits to operate regular flights to Queen Alia International Airport. These airlines connect Jordan to more than 73 international airports through direct flights.
Misto clarified that the temporary suspension by some international airlines was a precautionary measure affecting most Middle Eastern countries, not just Jordan.
