Jordan Daily – Newly appointed U.S. Ambassador to Jordan James Holtsnider sampled a selection of traditional Jordanian grilled dishes and appetizers on Saturday at a restaurant in the Tla’ Al-Ali area of Amman, the restaurant said.
In a post on its Facebook page, the restaurant welcomed Holtsnider, expressing pride at being his first dining destination in the Kingdom.
Holtsnider officially assumed his role earlier last week after presenting a copy of his credentials to Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dhaifallah Al-Fayez on Thursday.
