Jordan Daily – Dr. Najat Maalla M’jid, UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Violence against Children (SRSG-VAC), is visiting Jordan from 10 to 16 of December 2021, to recognize the strong commitment by the Government of Jordan to End Violence Against Children (EVAC), and scale up joint efforts to eliminate all forms of violence against children.
According to a statement, in her visit Dr Najat will meet and speak to children, women and communities directly, as well as hold key discussions with all stakeholders including ministers, policy makers, civil society, NGOs, the National Human Rights Center, the National Council of Family Affairs, the UN and communities.
