Jordan Daily – A delegation from 14 Jordanian universities, visited Malaysia from November 24 to 30 as part of the UniConnect Program, an initiative aimed at fostering international academic collaboration.
Dr. Rami Abdel-Rahem, President of the University of Petra, said that he had discussions with Malaysian university presidents centered on strengthening academic ties through joint degree programs, broadening opportunities for student and faculty exchanges, and exploring innovative research partnerships designed to elevate educational standards and promote greater innovation at both institutions.
Dr. Abdel-Rahem, signed two memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with the Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU) and Management and Science University (MSU) in Malaysia.
Founded in 1991, the University of Petra has established itself as a prominent educational institution in Jordan. Its diverse academic offerings span undergraduate and master’s programs across a range of disciplines, including arts and sciences, business, pharmacy, information technology, design, engineering, and law.
The university is recognized for its modern educational environment, which blends theoretical learning with practical and applied experience.
