Jordan Daily – Canada’s University of Waterloo and Jordan’s Progressive Generation Holding have announced a partnership to establish the Middle East’s first animation and digital content education centre.
Set to open in March 2025, the centre will offer University of Waterloo-certified programs for Jordanian youth, aiming to boost digital content creation skills in the region.
Canadian Ambassador to Jordan, Tarik Ali Khan, highlighted in a statement the project’s potential to position Jordan as a hub for digital content creation and outsourcing, predicting it could generate 50,000 jobs across the MENA region by 2030.
