“Urdunna Jannah” program attracts nearly 88k participants
Jordan Daily – “Urdunna Jannah” , domestic tourism program has attracted nearly 88,000 participants since the beginning of this year, with the participation of 2,195 buses accompanied by guides, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities said on Thursday.
Assistant Secretary-General at the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities Hisham Shakhatra said in press remarks that the ministry is currently working on implementing a new version of the program, which will be more attractive and widespread. He pointed out that the focus will be on less popular destinations, as local communities will be involved in the program.
The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities launched the “Urdunna Jannah” program in May 2019, in cooperation with the Jordan Tourism Board.
