Jordan Daily – On Friday, October 4th, Zarqa University welcomed 342 new Malaysian students for their orientation day. The orientation aims to ensure that these students, who have chosen Jordan as their academic destination, are well-prepared for the exciting journey ahead.
The event was attended by Ambassador Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman, Ambassador of Malaysia to Jordan, and Associate Professor Dr. Radzuwan Ab Rashid, Minister Counsellor of Education at the Embassy of Malaysia in Jordan.
According to a statement by Education Malaysia Jordan , Zarqa University generously sponsored the venue, making this a warm and welcoming start to the students’ experience in Jordan.
Ambassador Abdul Rahman emphasised the importance of cultural integration for the students, saying “Jordan offers a unique opportunity to excel academically and immerse students in its rich Arabic language and culture. I encourage all of you to interact with the locals, as mastering the language will be one of your most valuable academic and personal skills.”
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Radzuwan Ab Rashid echoed this sentiment, urging the students to make the most of their time in Jordan. “Proficiency in Arabic is crucial for your academic success, and the best way to achieve that is by actively engaging with the local community. Beyond that, remember that your primary goal here is academic excellence, and I am confident that all of you have the potential to thrive in this vibrant educational environment,” he noted.
