Jordan Daily – Jordanian Armed Forces said on Monday that troops stationed in the northern military zone had thwarted an attempt by an individual to illegally cross into the kingdom from neighboring Syria.
A military source said border guards applied the rules of engagement and apprehended the suspect, who was then handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation.
The Jordanian Armed Forces reiterated its commitment to safeguarding the kingdom’s security and stability, vowing to continue confronting infiltration and smuggling attempts with firmness and determination.
