Abdel Rahem congratulated the graduates and their families, emphasizing the importance of education in opening future opportunities. He highlighted new programs launched this semester, including a Master’s in Smart Sustainable Cities, the first of its kind in the Middle East, as well as programs in digital marketing, applied English, and logistics.
The university has recently achieved numerous accolades, including a five-star rating from QS in areas like education, governance, and environmental impact, Prof. Abdel Rahem noted.
The event also featured alumna Dr. Iman Al-Hiayasa, who shared her success story of balancing work, study, and family. Now completing a Ph.D. in Administrative Law, she also serves in senior positions, including on international legal bodies, and remains connected with Petra University as an advisory board member.
