Jordan Daily - Central Bank of Jordan said it has issued five-dinar banknotes for circulation during the Eid period bearing the signatures of current Finance Minister Dr. Abdalhakim Shibli and Central Bank Governor Dr. Adel Al-Sharkas
The bank said the notes are part of the existing fifth issue in circulation and are identical in design and security features to previously issued notes of the same denomination.
It added that differences in signatures reflect issuance periods only and do not affect the authenticity or value of the banknotes, which remain legal tender without restrictions.
The Central Bank urged the public to verify notes using embedded security features such as watermarks, security threads and microprinting.
