Jordan Daily - Jordan and the European Union have agreed to postpone a planned investment conference until the final quarter of 2026, citing logistical challenges and travel constraints linked to regional developments.

The Jordan- EU Investment Conference, originally scheduled for April 21, 2026, will be rescheduled to allow for broader international participation and more effective engagement, according to a joint statement.

The decision follows feedback from key partners and participants regarding difficulties affecting travel and attendance amid a rapidly evolving regional environment.

Jordan and the EU reaffirmed their “deep and longstanding partnership” and their shared commitment to strengthening economic and trade cooperation. Both sides said they would continue efforts to promote European investment in Jordan, describing the country as a stable and open destination with a strategic location linking Europe, Asia and Africa.

The statement highlighted momentum generated by recent Jordanian ministerial promotion tours in Europe, adding that coordination would continue in the coming months with relevant stakeholders to ensure the successful convening of the conference before the end of 2026.
