Jordan Daily - A senior source in the energy sector said natural gas flows from the Leviathan field in the eastern Mediterranean to Jordan resumed on Friday morning, with volumes expected to gradually return to normal levels in the near term.

The source told state news agency Petra that relevant authorities are closely monitoring gas flows to ensure a steady supply to power generation stations and maintain stable operations.

The source added that the continuity of gas supplies remains linked to regional developments, stressing that Jordan is managing various operational scenarios efficiently by diversifying energy sources and strengthening the readiness of its electricity system to ensure security of supply.
