Jordan Daily - Al-Kindi Hospital has highlighted one of its 12 fully equipped operating rooms, the “Hamburg Operating Room,” as part of its effort to provide specialized surgical care in a modern environment designed to enhance patient comfort and safety.
The hospital has named each of its operating rooms after Jordanian, Arab and international cities, including Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait, Dubai, London and Hamburg. The initiative is intended to create a familiar and reassuring atmosphere for patients from different countries, with symbolic images of the cities displayed inside the rooms.
The Hamburg Operating Room, designated as Operating Room No. 1, is dedicated to urological procedures, including minimally invasive endoscopic surgery, prostate surgery and kidney stone treatment. Procedures are performed by consultant and specialist urologists with expertise in kidney, urinary tract and prostate surgery.
The hospital said the operating room was named "Hamburg" in recognition of the German company, headquartered in Hamburg, that supplied and equipped the hospital's operating theaters.
