Jordan Daily - SME Fund Jo announced the establishment of Trismart Group following the completion of the merger of Trismart and ManafSoft, effective 16 July 2026. The merger marks the launch of the Fund’s first vertical investment platform in information technology and represents an early step in implementing its strategy to build sector-focused investment platforms, bringing strategically aligned Jordanian companies together in stronger businesses that are better positioned to grow, expand and compete.

SME Fund Jo holds a majority stake in each company and led the merger process, shaping the strategic vision for the new Group and supporting the development of the governance framework and institutional capabilities needed for its long-term growth.

The establishment of Trismart Group comes as artificial intelligence adoption accelerates, data governance becomes increasingly important and demand grows for more advanced digital infrastructure. The merger aims to create an integrated technology provider that combines financial software, digital infrastructure and security systems. This will allow the Group to offer solutions that combine these capabilities to meet the needs of financial institutions, government entities and businesses across a wide range of sectors.

Commenting on the announcement, Ayat Al Hunaiti, Chairperson of Trismart Group, said, “SME Fund Jo takes a long-term approach to investing in Jordanian companies, working alongside them to strengthen corporate governance and build the institutional capabilities required for sustainable growth. Its strategy also focuses on investing in complementary Jordanian companies in promising sectors and bringing them together as stronger, more competitive businesses, enhancing the value generated by the Fund’s portfolio companies. The establishment of Trismart Group puts this approach into practice by bringing together two companies with complementary capabilities under a unified strategic vision and strengthening their ability to compete and expand. It is also an important step in the Fund’s strategy to build vertical investment platforms that support sectors central to Jordan’s economy and help build stronger, more sustainable national companies.”

Abdallah Haj Deeb Saken, Chief Executive Officer of Trismart Group, said, “We see this merger as laying a stronger foundation for the next phase of our growth. Trismart and ManafSoft have each built extensive expertise and earned the trust of their clients. Combining these capabilities broadens the range of solutions we can offer and creates greater opportunities for sustainable growth. It also allows us to continue investing in Jordanian talent and developing technology solutions in Jordan for markets across the region.”

Mohammad Farraj, Acting General Manager of ManafSoft, added, “I see this merger as an encouraging development whose impact extends beyond the two companies. It offers a practical example of what Jordanian businesses can achieve when they combine their expertise and capabilities behind a shared vision and strategy. This integration will improve operational efficiency, accelerate innovation and increase the value we deliver to our clients. We hope it marks the start of further investment initiatives that bring together companies across the Fund’s portfolio and support the creation of more agile and competitive businesses.”

The new Group brings together the capabilities of two established Jordanian technology companies. Trismart, founded in 2001, specializes in the design and implementation of digital infrastructure, data centres, security systems and customer experience solutions. ManafSoft brings more than three decades of experience in developing software for financial institutions and capital markets, including systems for brokerage, anti-money laundering, shareholder management and asset management. Together, the two companies serve clients across the financial, government and business sectors and have a presence in Jordan, Syria, Palestine, Iraq and Libya.

In the next phase, the Group will focus on developing IP-based products and solutions and integrating software and digital infrastructure to deliver more comprehensive solutions that support institutions’ digital transformation. It will also work to improve operational efficiency and expand its presence across regional markets.

The establishment of the Group is expected to create new employment opportunities and support local innovation, increasing the technology sector’s contribution to Jordan’s economy.
