Jordan Daily -Al-Kindi Hospital has highlighted its “London” operating room, one of 12 fully equipped theatres at the private hospital, as a dedicated facility for ear, nose and throat (ENT) and rhinoplasty procedures.
Operating Room No. 2 is equipped with advanced surgical technology, including a surgical microscope, drills, shavers and nasal endoscopy systems, supporting procedures ranging from rhinoplasty and septoplasty to tonsil and adenoid removal, sinus surgery, ear surgery, cochlear implantation and eardrum reconstruction.
The room was designed to meet international standards for quality control and infection prevention, with sterilisation systems and specialist anaesthesia and intensive-care teams monitoring patients before, during and after surgery.
The facility is supported by modern inpatient equipment and round-the-clock care, with the hospital saying its aim is to combine specialist medical expertise with advanced technology while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
Al-Kindi’s 12 operating rooms are named after Arab, international and Jordanian cities and landmarks, including Riyadh, Doha, Kuwait, Dubai, Petra, Wadi Rum, Jerash, Hamburg and London. The hospital said the names and related imagery are intended to provide a familiar and reassuring environment for patients, including those travelling to Amman for treatment.
Al-Kindi Hospital offers a range of medical specialties and specialised centres, including bariatric and cosmetic surgery, vascular surgery, fertility treatment, lithotripsy, interventional radiology, cancer screening, organ transplantation, cardiac catheterisation and open-heart surgery, as well as emergency and ambulance services.
