Jordan Daily - The Malaysian Embassy in Amman held an event on Monday to mark the birthday of Prophet Muhammad, attended by Malaysia’s Ambassador Dato’ Mohamad Nasri Abdul Rahman, his wife, embassy staff and their families, as well as Malaysian students studying in Jordan.

In remarks at the event, Nasri welcomed attendees and stressed the importance of following the Prophet’s teachings of compassion, mutual respect, tolerance and integrity, particularly among students during their studies in Jordan.

The programme included Islamic nasheeds and a discussion on love for the Prophet and adherence to his teachings.

The event concluded with the ambassador presenting certificates of recognition to students who took part in the programme.
