Jordan Daily – Ten companies have applied for drone operation licenses in Jordan, Chairman of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) Haitham Misto said on Tuesday.
Misto said in press remarks that while several countries still impose outright bans on drone use, Jordan is moving toward regulated integration of the technology.
He noted drones will support sectors like agriculture, security, and delivery, with potential for recreational use. Licensed operators will be exempt from requiring security escorts.
