Jordan Daily – Islamic Action Front (IAF) said Wednesday that no members were arrested during security raids on its offices countrywide.
Secretary-General of IAF Wael Al-Saqqa stated in a press conference following the raids, the party fully cooperated with authorities and confirmed that official documents were seized for review.
He reaffirmed the IAF’s legal status as an independent political party and expressed confidence in the Jordanian judiciary.
The raids come amid a wider crackdown on the Muslim Brotherhood, though the IAF denies any organizational ties.
