Jordan Daily – Jordan and Türkiye explored ways to boost their economic, trade, investment and tourism ties on Thursday, as the Turkish ambassador visited the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA).
ASEZA Chief Commissioner Nayef Al-Fayez and Turkish envoy Erdem Ozan discussed the promising and possible investment opportunities in the special zone, which offers incentives and advantages to attract and localize Turkish investment in industrial cities.
They also stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation between the two countries, which share historical and rooted relations and common values, and benefit from Jordan’s strategic geographical location and free trade agreements with many countries of the world.
Ozan said the visit was aimed at learning about the potential of the Aqaba Economic Zone, and achieving the vision of the two brotherly countries in advancing their economic relations to the highest levels.
He added that Türkiye was keen to develop its relations with Jordan in all fields, especially the investment and tourism fields, which have a solid and strong ground for future growth.
