Jordan proposes exiling 3,000 Hamas members to end war on Gaza – Sources

Jordan Daily – Jordan has put forward a proposal to expel 3,000 members of Hamas and its military wing from Gaza in a bid to end the ongoing war between Israel and the Palestinian group, sources told Middle East Eye.

The plan, according to U.S. and Palestinian officials briefed on the discussions, includes the removal of both military and civilian Hamas leaders, alongside a timeline for disarmament of the group and other armed factions in Gaza.

If implemented, the proposal would dismantle Hamas’s governance in the enclave, paving the way for the Palestinian Authority (PA) to take control.

The initiative comes as Israel intensifies its bombardment of Gaza, days after violating a ceasefire agreement reached earlier this year.
