Jordan Daily – Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates on Sunday welcomed the announcement by Oman regarding a breakthrough in talks between the United States and Iran, following the second round of negotiations held in Rome, Italy.
The ministry confirmed that the two sides had agreed to move forward to the next phase of discussions.
Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Dr. Sufian Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at promoting dialogue and resolving conflicts through peaceful means, emphasizing the importance of such efforts in strengthening regional and international security and stability.
Qudah also commended the mediation roles played by Oman and Italy in hosting and facilitating the U.S.-Iran discussions.
