Jordan Daily – The Ministry of Public Works and Housing called on political parties and candidates participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections, scheduled for the 10th of next month, to adhere to the regulations governing the placement and appearance of electoral advertisements.
The ministry urged all candidates to refrain from placing posters or banners on traffic signs, streetlights, or any other public infrastructure along highways.
In a circular issued to all public works directorates and offices, the ministry announced the implementation of regular inspection campaigns throughout the election period. These campaigns aim to ensure compliance with the regulations and to prevent the use of traffic signs, streetlight poles, and traffic signals for campaign advertising.
The ministry also confirmed that any violations of the issued guidelines will be promptly removed.
