Jordan Daily – Prime Minister Bishr Al-Khasawneh on Thursday addressed the government’s decision to ban the “Tik Tok” application, highlighting the prevalent use of VPN decryption applications as a means for people to access the platform despite the ban.
Al-Khasawneh emphasized that the main concern regarding TikTok is related to responsible content management.
He stated that in order to ensure accountability, the platform must either establish a regional office or have a presence in Jordan, a matter that has not been adequately addressed by the company thus far.
