
Jordan Daily – Prime Minister, Dr. Jafar Hassan, has announced a public holiday on Thursday, May 1, 2025, in observance of International Labour Day.
In an official circular issued on Sunday, the government said work will be suspended across all ministries, public institutions, official universities, municipalities, joint service councils, the Greater Amman Municipality, and fully state-owned companies.
Labour Day is a national holiday in Jordan, celebrated annually to honour workers and their contributions to the country’s development.
