Royal Jordanian resumes flights to Tripoli after decade-long pause

Jordan Daily – Royal Jordanian Airlines (RJ) has resumed flights to the Libyan capital, Tripoli, after a hiatus of more than a decade, according to CEO Samer Majali.

The airline reinstated its service on Wednesday, operating three flights per week to Tripoli, with hopes of increasing the frequency in the future.

Majali also revealed that Royal Jordanian plans to launch flights to Benghazi soon, with a similar schedule of three weekly flights.

The CEO expressed optimism that the resumption of flights between Jordan and Libya will boost trade and tourism, particularly in the area of medical tourism.
