Saudi Arabia tops Arab gold reserves; Jordan ranks tenth

Jordan Daily – Jordan’s gold reserves have hit 71.18 tons, the World Gold Council revealed in its latest figures.

The reserves account for nearly a quarter (24.90%) of the kingdom’s total reserves, encompassing foreign currency and various financial instruments.

Jordan ranks tenth among Arab countries in terms of gold reserves which in the region sum up to approximately 15,553 tons. This is part of the global gold reserves tallying up to 35,927 tons. Saudi Arabia claims the lion’s share of these reserves in the Arab region.
