Jordan Daily – On the International Day of Education, the UK Government committed GBP 6.4 million (USD 8.1 million) to UNICEF’s Quality Education Programme for vulnerable children in Jordan, including Syrian refugees.
This partnership will support over 36,000 children by improving access to safe, inclusive education through enhanced infrastructure, operational support, and resources for children with disabilities.
Philippe Duamelle, UNICEF Representative, and British Ambassador Philip Hall emphasized in a statement the transformative power of education and the importance of ensuring all children in Jordan, including refugees, receive the opportunities they deserve.
