Jordan Daily – A government source disclosed that the total number of Facebook and Instagram users in Jordan has surpassed 8 million.
According to the source, 5 million Jordanians are on Facebook, while 3 million use Instagram, making these platforms some of the most popular in the country for messaging and social networking, alongside WhatsApp—all owned by the global tech giant Meta.
“These figures are the result of the first survey conducted by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship to track social media usage trends across the kingdom,” the source said.
The ministry has completed its survey on social media usage indicators in Jordan, with the results expected to be released later this year, the source added.
