Jordan Daily – Abdali Investment and Development Company has inaugurated its first advanced electric vehicle (EV) charging station in the heart of Amman’s Abdali district, in partnership with Chinese EV charging giant Grasen and its exclusive Jordanian agent, the National Arab Motors Company.
The new station includes seven ultra-fast chargers with capacities of up to 240 kW, capable of simultaneously charging 14 electric vehicles. The chargers feature advanced technology allowing rapid charging within minutes, intelligent battery monitoring, and dynamic power sharing to optimize energy distribution and charging efficiency.
“This milestone aligns with Abdali’s smart transformation strategy and reinforces our commitment to sustainable transport infrastructure in Jordan,” said Amer Ahmad Al-Tarawneh, CEO of Abdali Group. He highlighted the partnership’s role in modernizing urban mobility and supporting the country’s economic modernization vision.
Mohammad Alayan, CEO of National Arab Motors, said the project marks the first in a planned nationwide network of smart charging stations. He emphasized the strategic importance of introducing Grasen’s high-performance, safety-focused chargers to the Jordanian market, calling it a “qualitative leap” in the sustainable transport sector.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Amer Talal Al-Fayez, Chairman of Abdali Group, alongside senior executives from Abdali, Grasen, and National Arab Motors. The initiative aims to bolster Jordan’s electric mobility ecosystem and position Abdali as a model for smart urban development in the region.
