By : JD

Jordan Daily – Foreign ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt welcomed U.S. President Donald Trump’s role in efforts to end the Gaza war, saying they trusted his ability to advance peace.

In a joint statement, the ministers backed Trump’s proposal to halt the fighting, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians and block any Israeli annexation of the West Bank. They stressed the importance of partnership with Washington to secure regional stability.

The ministers said they were ready to work constructively with the United States and other parties to finalize and implement an agreement ensuring humanitarian aid to Gaza, the release of hostages, full Israeli withdrawal, security guarantees, reconstruction and a path to a two-state solution. They called for Gaza to be unified with the West Bank in a Palestinian state under international law.
