Jordan Daily – The Jordanian Armed Forces unveiled the “Shaheen” drone during a military parade held as part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of His Majesty King Abdullah II’s ascension to the throne, marking its entry into service as a strategic weapon for Jordan.
The Shaheen, an armed aerial reconnaissance system, was commissioned into the Royal Jordanian Air Force in 2024. Capable of flying for over 24 hours, the drone has the ability to engage both stationary and moving targets using smart weapons.
