Jordan Daily - Jordan granted citizenship to 65 investors who completed the required procedures under the country's citizenship-by-investment program during the first half of 2026, Interior Ministry spokesperson Abdul Karim Abu Dalo said.

The figure compares with 37 investors who completed the process during the first six months of 2025. A total of 89 investors obtained Jordanian citizenship through investment during all of 2025.

Abu Dalo said applicants are granted Jordanian citizenship only after meeting the conditions and requirements set out in a Cabinet decision governing the citizenship-by-investment program.

The citizenship-by-investment scheme forms part of Jordan's broader strategy to attract foreign investment and support economic growth.
