Jordan Daily - Jordan has summoned Iran’s charge d’affaires to protest attacks targeting Jordanian territory and other Arab states, the Foreign Ministry said on Sunday.
The ministry condemned the attacks as a blatant violation of Jordan’s sovereignty, the sovereignty of Arab nations, international law and the U.N. Charter, calling them an unacceptable escalation that threatens regional and international security.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Fuad Majali said the envoy was told the attacks must cease immediately and that Jordan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected.
Majali said Jordan would take all necessary measures to protect its citizens, security and sovereignty.
