Jordan Daily - The area around the U.S. Embassy in Amman remained calm on Tuesday despite heightened security measures amid rising regional tensions.

Public Security Directorate (PSD) said traffic is normal but urged nearby residents to follow precautionary guidelines, including staying indoors, closing windows and moving away from them until any potential threat subsides.

Motorists were advised to stop their vehicles and seek shelter in nearby buildings, preferably near stairwells. Citizens were urged to call the emergency number, 911, if needed.

The measures follow reports that the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh was targeted by two drones, causing minor damage, Saudi authorities said.
