Jordan Daily – His Majesty King Abdullah received phone calls on Wednesday from Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten to discuss escalating regional tensions, the Royal Court said.
The king stressed the need to halt Iranian attacks on Jordan and other countries and called for resolving tensions through diplomacy and dialogue.
He also said Jordan would continue taking all necessary measures to safeguard its security, sovereignty and the safety of its citizens, describing the attacks as a violation of international law.
During the call with Jetten, the king also congratulated him on taking office and reaffirmed Jordan’s readiness to strengthen cooperation with the Netherlands.
