Jordan Daily - Jordan has dispatched a humanitarian aid convoy to Lebanon following directives from King Abdullah II, the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) said on Wednesday.

The convoy, organized in cooperation with the Jordan Armed Forces – Arab Army, consists of 25 trucks carrying relief supplies, food and medicines intended for communities affected by ongoing hardships in Lebanon.

JHCO Secretary-General Hussein Al-Shibli said the initiative reflects Jordan’s continued humanitarian role and its commitment to supporting people in need across the region.

He added that the organization is coordinating with national institutions to ensure the aid reaches beneficiaries quickly and efficiently.

The convoy is part of Jordan’s ongoing efforts to support Lebanon, with the kingdom mobilizing its logistical and humanitarian capabilities to deliver assistance during challenging conditions, the organization said.
