Jordan Daily - Jordan Armed Forces said on Saturday that dozens of missiles and drones launched directly from Iran toward the kingdom had been intercepted, as authorities reported the latest impact of the regional war on the country during its second week.

In a statement, the Jordan Armed Forces’ military media directorate said 85 missiles and drones had been launched from Iran toward Jordanian territory, targeting vital sites across the kingdom.

The statement said the Royal Jordanian Air Force intercepted 79 of the incoming projectiles, while air defenses were unable to stop five drones and one missile, which fell inside Jordanian territory.

Jordan armed forces remain committed to defending the nation and protecting it from any attack, the statement added, stressing that all available resources and capabilities were being mobilized to safeguard the kingdom’s security and the safety of its citizens.
