Jordan Daily-  Jordan Meteorological Department said the kingdom will be affected by a strong spell of unstable weather starting Wednesday, with heavy rain, thunderstorms and hail expected across wide areas.

Rain will begin in southern parts of the kingdom, including Aqaba, before spreading to most regions, including the capital Amman, with intense downpours raising the risk of flash floods in low-lying areas such as the Dead Sea.

Conditions are expected to worsen overnight as a cold, moist air mass linked to a low-pressure system moves in, bringing continued cold, cloudy and rainy weather, with heavier rainfall focused in western areas.
