Jordan Daily- Prime Minister Jafar Hassan on Wednesday issued an official directive announcing a public holiday on Thursday, April 30, in observance of Labour Day, which falls annually on May 1.
The holiday will apply to ministries, government departments, public institutions and authorities, in addition to public universities, municipalities, joint services councils and the Greater Amman Municipality, as well as companies wholly owned by the government.
