Jordan Daily - Royal Jordanian, is operating all scheduled flights as normal, except for services to Iraq, which have been suspended until further notice, the airline's Chief Executive Officer Samer Majali said on Sunday.
Majali told Al Mamlaka TV that the airline had also cancelled its morning flight to Syria.
The flight disruptions came as Jordan's airspace had been breached by a number of missiles on Sunday evening amid renewed regional escalation.
Government spokesperson Mohammad Momani said air raid sirens were activated and authorities were providing residents with guidance and updates. He added that the Jordanian Armed Forces were closely monitoring developments and taking all necessary measures to protect the country.
Momani reiterated Jordan's warning against any attempts to violate its airspace, saying the kingdom would not allow any party to turn Jordan into a battleground.
