Jordan Daily - Demonstrating its unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible industrial development, BIA Textiles commemorated World Environment Day through a tree-planting and sapling distribution initiative at the King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area in Al-Mafraq, Jordan.
The program brought together industry stakeholders with a shared objective of enhancing environmental stewardship and promoting greener industrial practices across the region. The initiative was organized in collaboration with the King Hussein Bin Talal Development Area and supported by the Development Area Authority, with the valuable assistance of Eng. Khaled Subaihat.
Driving Collective Eco-Action
As part of the celebration, BIA Textiles distributed tree saplings to various industries operating within the development area. This effort encouraged organizations to actively participate in increasing green cover and fostering a culture of environmental responsibility. The initiative ultimately aimed to inspire collective action toward creating a more sustainable and climate-resilient industrial ecosystem.
In addition to the sapling distribution program, employees and stakeholders actively participated in planting trees along roadways within the development area.
