Jordan Daily - Jordan has dispatched a humanitarian relief flight to Venezuela to support international efforts responding to the devastating earthquakes that recently struck the South American country.
The mission departed aboard a Royal Jordanian Boeing 787 Dreamliner carrying around 100 personnel, including search-and-rescue specialists, civil defense teams and medical staff from the Royal Medical Services.
The aircraft also transported emergency medical supplies and specialized field equipment to assist rescue operations and provide treatment for survivors in the affected areas.
The deployment was ordered by King Abdullah II as part of the kingdom's emergency humanitarian response.
Jordan also plans to send a fully equipped field hospital in the coming days to bolster local medical capacity and expand healthcare services for those injured in the disaster.
