Jordan Daily - Al-Kindi Hospital organized a one-day blood donation campaign in cooperation with the Ministry of Health's National Blood Bank Directorate drew strong participation from hospital staff, patients, visitors and members of the local community.
The campaign, held on Wednesday outside the hospital's Emergency Department, was organized by the hospital's Social Committee to encourage voluntary blood donation and raise awareness of its role in saving lives.
Hospital officials said the initiative aimed to promote social solidarity, strengthen the culture of volunteerism and highlight the health benefits of blood donation for donors.

Al-Kindi Hospital praised the Ministry of Health, through the National Blood Bank Directorate, for its role in ensuring a safe and adequate blood supply by conducting comprehensive medical and laboratory testing on donated blood before it is made available to patients. The hospital also commended the directorate's ongoing nationwide blood donation campaigns, which help maintain strategic blood reserves and meet the needs of hospitals and patients across Jordan.
The hospital said such initiatives contribute to fostering a culture of giving and community engagement while supporting the National Blood Bank's efforts to secure sufficient blood units for medical emergencies and routine patient care.
