Jordan Daily – German Ambassador to Jordan, Bertram von Moltke, announced the groundbreaking of a new German Embassy building in Amman’s Abdoun, calling it a significant milestone in the relationship between Germany and Jordan.
“The new embassy building will stand as a symbol of our strong relationship and friendship with Jordan,” von Moltke said in remarks shared on the X platform. He emphasized the embassy’s design as “open and welcoming, with lots of rooms to come and work together and with respect for local culture and tradition.”
In 2023, Germany and Jordan celebrated 70 years of diplomatic relations. Germany is the country’s second-largest bilateral donor, behind the United States, and is one of Jordan’s most important partners in many fields.
