Jordan Daily – Prime Minister-designate Dr. Jafar Hassan is expected to include members of political parties in his new government, according to sources.
Hassan is likely to appoint party members from some of the political parties represented in Parliament. However, the selection will be based on the candidates’ abilities and expertise in specific areas, rather than party nominations.
This approach is seen as a recognition of the efforts of party leaders and aligns with ongoing political modernization efforts aimed at strengthening the role of political parties in the national landscape.
Hassan is set to meet Tuesday with the Islamic Action Front, after holding discussions Monday with the secretaries-general of the National Charter Party and the Irada Party regarding the upcoming phase. However, he did not request any nominations for government positions during these meetings.
